Wavelength Reef Charters
-
-
- Experience the Great Barrier Reef up close and personal with a Wavelength Charters snorkel trip. Here are some highlights from our time snorkeling with Wavelength…
- We boarded the charter boat and traveled 1.5 hours to Opal Reef, where we made three different snorkel stops
- We were surprised to see so many untouched coral gardens while being surrounded by hundreds of fish. It truly felt like we were in Finding Nemo!
- We had several turtle sightings at our third stop
- We were lucky enough to see a pod of humpback whales on our way back to shore!
- Overall perfect day out on the water!

-
IMPORTANT TIPS:
- During the first part of the trip, the waves are pretty rough and the boat rocks quite a bit. Even if you aren’t normally prone to sea sickness, I highly suggest you take anti-nausea medication prior to your snorkel trip!
- No need to pack food – Wavelength provides a hearty lunch onboard during the snorkel trip.
