Where We Stayed: Azerai La Residence Hue Hotel

We were welcomed to Hue by our new A&K guide and spent our day touring the sunny city. First, we visited the historical Imperial Citadel, where the former emperor used to live. The architecture and gardens were bright and beautiful!

Helpful Hint:

• Make sure to dress appropriately for the Citadel (The temples enforce strict dress code rules, including no hats or sunglasses! In addition, women are required to have shoulders and knees covered).

We also visited several pagodas which were used for religious worship practices.

Our day of touring came and went quickly! It was already time to say goodbye to our A&K guide, leave Hue, and head to our next destination. Goodbye Hue and hello Hoi An!
